Spay Neuter Assistance

The CatPAWS Spay Neuter Fund

This fund was established in October 2010 to support CatPAWS’ mission of providing Trap/Neuter/Release (TNR) for feral cat management and to reduce overall cat overpopulation.

At this time, we have available a limited supply of spay/neuter vouchers for residents in the North Orange County area.

PLEASE READ BEFORE FILLING OUT FORM OR DONATING!

We are currently referring to Stanton Animal Hospital in Stanton, CA and Fix Long Beach in Long Beach, CA at which we have accounts. If those clinics will not work for you, we are sorry but we will not be able to help you.

Due to limited funds, we request a $20 copay for the voucher but it is NOT required and please DO NOT DONATE before you get the voucher form emailed back to you. Please make sure to fill out all required fields on application, then hit 'submit'. If it goes through successfully, you should get a confirmation notice.

PLEASE CONTACT LONG BEACH ANIMAL CARE SERVICES FIRST IF YOU ARE A RESIDENT OF LONG BEACH or cities served by Long Beach Animal Care Services (includes Seal Beach, Signal Hill, Cerritos, Los Alamitos):

NOTE: This voucher from CatPAWS will cover a standard spay/neuter.. If the cat is pregnant or in heat or there are complications any resulting extra charges will be the responsibility of the owner/caregiver. Cost for other services such as vaccination, deworming, etc., or products are the responsibility of the owner/caregiver. CatPAWS assumes absolutely no liability for any issues that may result from use of this voucher.

The tragic consequences of pet overpopulation can be prevented – there is a solution. Thank you for being part of ‘The Fix’!

This is Nehemiah. The rest of his litter and his mom, suffering from upper respiratory infections, had already been euthanized at the shelter. A plea was sent out to rescue organizations to save him since he was starting to show symptoms of this very common and treatable condition but one often beyond the capacity of public shelters to manage, and he would be next. “He is too young to die”, the plea started. Yet that is the fate of too many kittens, born to die. Female cats have litter after litter, their bodies exhausted and nutritionally depleted, often giving birth to sick kittens, and sometimes succumbing themselves to illness, or being euthanized in shelters. This cycle must stop. Please be part of the solution!
