November 30, 2021 – Seal Beach, CA – Helen Sanders CatPAWS (CatPAWS) would like to show you for this Giving Tuesday, what your donations will accomplish. One generous donor will be matching all donated funds up to $10,000 today.

In our mission to ensure more cats get to live a full and cherished life, we take a targeted, 3 pronged approach.

PREVENT: Through our own Spay Neuter fund we have funded thousands of surgeries to prevent unwanted litters – over 440 so far in 2021 alone. We receive no city or county assistance for this effort; this fund is supported only by your donations.

PROTECT: The focus of our rescue efforts is to take at-risk cats from public shelters. These cats are placed into foster homes and receive whatever medical care they may need, from basic deworming, flea treatment and vaccinations, to complicated – and expensive – surgery on limbs and eyes to give them their best lives.

PROVIDE: In addition to cost assistance for spay-neuter surgeries to the Community, we also pioneered the idea of DIY Kitten Care Kits, providing these to public shelters – and sometimes to people directly – to in turn give to people who find kittens. This program has kept thousands of kittens out of the shelter system where they might otherwise be at risk.

Saving Lives and Making Smiles. We also believe that in our bond with animals we find our fuller humanity, and bring the joy of cat companionship to residents of assisted living facilities through our innovative and heartwarming Traveling Kitty Comfort and Therapy Show.

P.S. If you know someone who might be interested in volunteering or fostering and joining our Team, please send them our way! We are established enough to provide strong support, personal attention, and all needed supplies.
